Hi Andy, Thank you so much. It was a real nightmare before I reached here.I really struggled and experimented with this exercise until I hit the right combination of objects used. I will at some point put the failed images as well. 🙂 I use the Nikon D5 – it has a 12 FPS. I did not use any speed light or light source for this. was shot at around 4:30pm in the evening.
Hi Archna,
I’m just catching up on emails over the last few weeks as work has been so busy and I’ve just followed the link to this fabulous set of images. They are brilliant – I really love the ones with a slower shutter speed. Well done – you should be very proud of them,
Jane
Hi Janie. A big thank you. Yes I am quite happy with them especially since it was such a struggle to reach here after so many failed attempts. 😊 I like the slow shutter speed ones too. Appreciate your taking the time out to review and provide feedback. Many thanks and best wishes.
Hi. I love this! and its inspired me to think as creatively as I can on this course. Its also reassuring for me to know that the results didn’t come easily for you so I’ll remind myself that when I start thinking I cant do it! Taking shots of your setup is also a great idea. I hope the water was warm!
Thank you Mark! Yes this was a great challenge for me. A lot of research and failed experiments with various objects led me to this. In India, the current temperature is 42 degrees! Everything is warm even if you don’t wish it! 😊 Thank you for your feedback. You are off to a great start already. I am still to upload my part 1 exercises so congratulations to you on successfully getting on to the blog right at the beginning. Cheers. I wish you a great journey.
Wow! These look great! I bet all involved really enjoyed themselves.

Oh like how David!
It was super fun especially since I was behind and not in front of the camera. 🙂

Brilliant! Fantastic research, production and execution Archna with great results.
Just one technical question if I may .. what is the frames per second (FPS) capability of your camera?

Thanks Archna, 12 FPS is very good, my Canon 6D only has 4.5 FPS so not the best for fast action photography
